Andrea Lynn Ferguson
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Thanks for being here, I’m Andrea! I’m a neurodivergent, queer-identified therapist with a relaxed, straightforward style, offering virtual therapy sessions.
I believe that healing begins in relationship — with ourselves, with others, and within the safe, supportive space of therapy. My journey into psychotherapy was inspired by a lifelong passion for mental wellness, a deep appreciation for human connection, and a sincere interest in the stories that shape us.
I work with people who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or stretched thin by the many roles they’re navigating. If perfectionism, relationship challenges, anxiety, or a sense of losing yourself are showing up, therapy can offer space to breathe and reconnect. I provide an empathetic, down-to-earth, and inclusive environment where you can explore your experiences without judgment or pressure. Together, we’ll uncover the patterns that keep you stuck, strengthen boundaries and self-compassion, and help you move toward a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and aligned with who you are.
You deserve a space where you can show up fully, feel brave and affirmed, and know I’m firmly on your team.
What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process that supports emotional well-being, personal growth, and healing. Often referred to as “talk therapy,” it involves meaningful conversations that help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a supportive, nonjudgmental space. Together, we work to better understand your challenges and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others.
My Approach
I practice from a psychodynamic perspective, which means I pay close attention to how past experiences and unconscious patterns influence your present life. My approach is grounded, relational, and curious. I aim to understand you within the full context of your life — your history, relationships, environment, and inner world. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes, but about fostering insight, connection, and lasting growth.
An Invitation
Choosing to begin therapy is a meaningful and courageous step. I appreciate the guts it takes to reach out and try something different.
I invite you into a space where your story matters — where you can speak freely, be met with empathy, and feel supported in exploring whatever is on your mind or heart. I see you as the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, care, and respect.
If you’re ready to begin — or even if you’re just thinking about it — I welcome you to contact me, I’d love to meet you.
